Better Nutrition: Top 10 weight-loss supplements.

Diuretic Herbs: With breakfast and lunch, take 250-500 mg of dandelion extract and 250-1,000 mg of uva ursi, or an herbal diuretic formula per product directions.

7-Keto: Take 100 mg twice daily, in the morning and evening. If the 7-keto is in a formula that also contains stimulants, such as caffeine or guarana, take the second dose earlier in the day.

Green Coffee Extract: Take 350-400 mg, 30 minutes before each meal, 3 times per day, with a glass of water. On labels, look for Svetol, GCA, or Coffeegenic extracts, which have been tested in studies.

PGX: Take 5 g with plenty of water, 5 to 10 minutes before a meal, two to three times per day, or follow product directions. PGX is available as an individual supplement and in weight-loss formulas.

Protein Powders: Look for approximately 20 g per serving and no artificial additives.

Saffron Extract: Take 89 mg before meals, twice daily, of Satiereal saffron extract.

Phase 2: Take 1,000 mg, ten minutes before each meal.

Raspberry Ketones: Take 100-200 mg with breakfast and lunch.

5-HIP: Take 50-100 mg three times daily, 15 to 30 minutes before meals.

Chia Seeds: Start with 1 tablespoon daily and work up to 2 or more (to avoid feeling too full if you are not used to eating much fiber).
