Results from the AgeForce Weight Loss Patch Experiment
Nine weeks (8 actually) I have lost 6 pounds total and 2 inches off of my waist. I am very happy with the results in that I did not diet at all. I wanted to isolate the results from all other external influences.
I experienced no side affects. No loss of sleep or muscle cramps or high water loss. The experiment itself was very interesting in that I still ate horribly but weight came off.
With more effort I believe the AgeForce patch would cause some significant body re-composition. Definitely worth adding to your current protocol.
I would like to absolutely thank the folks at AgeForce for the opportunity to test the patch.

The Below Information is from the AgeForce Website:
Formula (Per Patch) Upgraded June 2015
-
EGCG 5mg – From
green tea extract is the best-researched anti-inflammatory fat loss
adjuvant your money can buy. In its purest form it will fire up your
fat metabolism and help normalize your glucose levels.
-
Berberine HCL 10mg – A
powerful fat-metabolic enhancer that acts similar to the potent
diabetes drug metformin. Just like the prescription medication it acts
mainly via an enzyme that's called AMPK. AMPK controls the glucose
uptake and fatty acid oxidation in your cells and berberine ramps up
both of them. Studies have also shown that berberine can reduce the
levels of triglycerides and bad LDL cholesterol in your blood, albeit
without any of the nasty side effects of prescription drugs with the
same effects.
-
3.5 Diiodothyronine (T2) 1mg – is
a downstream metabolite that is a thermogenic activator that promotes
the burning of body fat. 3.5 is also the most powerful and effective
of the two forms of T2.
-
7-Keto DHEA 20mg– (7-OXO DHEA) is
a naturally occurring metabolite of DHEA that cannot convert to
estrogen, testosterone or any downstream sex hormone making it a much
safer choice for those wanting the well-known weight loss benefits of
DHEA. Clinical trials and peer review studies show that 7-Keto DHEA
works as a thermo genic that increases metabolic function and thus
causes an increase in energy expenditure. This leads to greater
calorie utilization with resulting fat loss. 7-Keto DHEA can also
accelerate fat loss is through a reduction of cortisol production
which place a roll in the storage of new body fat. So 7-Keto DHEA
works two ways, by increasing body fat loss and inhibiting new fat
storage.
-
Tyr-Somatostatin 5mg - is an
advanced peptide that burns body fat without any of the negative
effects of so-called “fat-burners” like caffeine, ephedrine, or
guarana, that are used in other over-the-counter weight loss
supplements and diet pills. Tyr-Somatostatin does not suppress natural
thyroid production.
-
R Alpha Lipoic Acid (RLA) 5mg -
is a great antioxidant. It is used in the body to break down
carbohydrates, and to make energy. It also restores natural levels of
vitamin C and vitamin E.
-
Hoodia 15mg – This is a safe and
wonderful appetite suppressant. It doesn’t work when taken orally, but
when delivered directly to the bloodstream via our patches, it will
suppress appetite and those cravings that make it so hard to eat
sensibly.
-
Yohimbine 10mg – Increases
lipolysis as shown in multiple studies, especially during and
following exercise, thus promoting safe, natural weight loss.
Yohimbine is a mild stimulant.
-
Hordenine 4mg – Is an alkaloid that
occurs naturally in barley and other plants. It stimulates the
central nervous system and promotes weight loss by enhancing
metabolism.

most urgently, therefore he will also trial fucoxanthin, which has some
impressive, but not exactly reliable weight loss data. He will either
have a script for metformin or will use alpha lipoic acid (ALA) as a
substitute and he will make sure that he gets adequate chromium by
taking 200mcg of chromium picoliante or niacin-bound chromium per day *if this is not already in a multi he or she is taking.
The normal-weight insulin resistant individual has slightly
different needs than his overweight comrade. He or she is almost
certainly suffering from chronic inflammation and beginning or existing
NAFLD (the obese will have that, as well, but for him it's only part of
the problem). With it's effects on both AMPK and PPAR-gamma berberine
will make sure that the body fat levels remain low. Just like taurine (read more), chlorogenic acid (Panchal. 2012) and milk thistle (read more), it will also help "revive" the liver and sooth the inflammation by promoting the bodies own antioxidant defense system.
The cheater, on the other hand, could be everyone who wants to
undo (or fore-do, if you will) a high GI carb meal. The ingredients of
this stack will ameliorate the blood sugar response and could thus potentially
reduce any damage you could do to your pancreas... but let's be honest.
With the occasional cheat you are not going to do any damage and if
cheating becomes common practice you violate the "lifestyle-changes
first!" principle and won't get away healthily no matter how much
supplements you take.

- The insulin resistant obese / overweight individual will
have to target weight and fat loss and increases in insulin resistance; a
stack that could facilitate all three would contain. - ALA (or metformin) - 3x 300-500mg
- Berberine - 3x 200-400mg
- Fucoxanthin - 3x 5mg
- Taurine - 3x 2-3g
- Chromium - 1x 200mcg (*)
- The normal-weight insulin resistant individual will have to take care of inflammation, (usually) a beginning fatty liver and not taking the next step to the obese diabetic.

- Chlorogenic acid - 3x 200-300mg
- Taurine - 3x 2-3g

- The cheater can be either of the former or a healthy
perfectly insulin sensitive individual who wants to reduce the sudden
rise in blood glucose after a meal. - Cinnamon - 1-6g (Ceylon cinnamon)
- Vinegar - 2x tablespoons

In summary, a "simple carbohydrate manipulation" in the form of carb-fasting before dinner,
improves hunger/satiety status, increases persistence in the weight
loss process, and provides "better anthropometric outcomes, improved
insulin sensitivity, improvement in metabolic syndrome parameters, less
inflammation" compared to an identical low-calorie diet providing carbohydrates throughout the day in members of the Israeli Police with a baseline BMI level of >30.
Whether the normal weight or even athletic part of the population can
derive similar benefits from such an intervention does still have to be
elucidated.
